Since established in 1969, MOECO just celebrated its milestone 50th anniversary in 2019 as an exploration and production company half a century ago, MOECO has been continually devoted to the exploration, development and production of energy resources globally building from the development of our gas projects in offshore Thailand. We are proud to have successfully overcome numerous challenges in our long history to continue to be able today to make a meaningful contribution toward the supply of energy for the betterment of society through our business activities.
In addition, MOECO acquired the interests in Block L10/43 and L11/43 in 2004 through a wholly owned subsidiary, Siam Moeco Ltd. It thereby embarked on its first operator project in Thailand.
MOECO has been contributing to the development of Thailand's economy and industry by developing and supplying oil and natural gas and has established a significant presence as a major E&P company in Thailand. MOECO will continuously make effort to ensure stable supplies of energy.
Not only business operating but MOECO also has been devote to Thai society continuously by many activities. As one of our CSR activities, since year 2009 until now, MOECO has been started to award scholarship fund to Thai students in 4 major universities - Chiang Mai University, Chulalongkorn University, Khon Kaen University and Mahidol University.
With MOECO scholarship fund, scholars can continue and fulfill their studies or other educational purposes. Currently, over than 130 MOECO scholars graduated and worked in many public and private organizations including major E&P companies. MOECO confidently believe that these human resources will be part of core power to drive Thailand sustainable development.

มิตซุย ออยล์ เอ็กซโปลเรชั่น คัมปะนี ลิมิเต็ด ก่อตั้งบริษัทเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2512 โดยเราเพิ่งผ่านการฉลองครบรอบ 50 ปีการดำเนินกิจการสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียมในปี พ.ศ. 2562 บริษัททุ่มเทในการสำรวจ การพัฒนาและการผลิตทรัพยากรพลังงานทั่วโลกอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเริ่มต้นจากการพัฒนาแหล่งก๊าซธรรมชาตินอกชายฝั่งประเทศไทย เราภูมิใจในความสำเร็จที่ท้าทายมากมายในประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนาน ที่เราเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมต่อการจัดหาพลังงานเพื่อการพัฒนาสังคมที่ดีขึ้นผ่านการดำเนินธุรกิจของเรา
ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ในปี พ.ศ. 2547 โมเอโกะเริ่มดำเนินกิจการสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียมผ่านบริษัทในเครือ บริษัท สยาม โมเอโกะ จำกัด บน Block L10 / 43 และ L11 / 43 ซึ่งเป็นโครงการแรกที่บริษัทดำเนินการเองในประเทศไทย
ในฐานะบริษัทสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียมรายใหญ่ของประเทศ โมเอโกะ มีส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนและพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ อุตสาหกรรมของประเทศไทย ผ่านการดำเนินการพัฒนา จัดหาน้ำมันดิบและก๊าซธรรมชาติ เราจะทุ่มเทต่อไปเพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าเราจะมีพลังงานใช้อย่างเพียงพอ
มากกว่าการดำเนินธุรกิจ โมเอโกะ ยังมีส่วนรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมอย่างต่อเนื่องผ่านโครงการความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในด้านต่าง ๆ หนึ่งในกิจกรรมของเรา คือการมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาใน 4 มหาวิทยาลัยหลัก ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่, จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นและ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ทุกปีตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2552 จนถึงปัจจุบัน
ด้วยเงินจากทุนการศึกษานี้ เราช่วยเติมเต็มให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนต่อหรือใช้เพื่อการศึกษา ปัจจุบัน นักศึกษามากกว่า 130 คนที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากเรา สำเร็จการศึกษาและทำงานในองค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนหลายแห่งรวมถึงในบริษัทสำรวจและผลิตปิโตรเลียมหลัก เราเชื่อมั่นว่าทรัพยากรบุคคลเหล่านี้จะเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนและพัฒนาประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน
