"I was a recipient of MOECO scholarship for 3 academic years, in 2009-2011. The grant significantly relieved my educational expenses. Therefore, I can concentrate on the study and it enabled me to the success in the education and paved the way to my career. The scholarship also introduced me to know MOECO. MOECO is an international oil and gas exploration company that in part inspiring me to learn more about the oil and gas industry. I am appreciated that MOECO see the importance of the education and support students for a long time. Apart from the grant, one impression from that occasion is the celebration dinner in ceremony day that students have a chance to meet the scholarship provider. The company executives are very kind and we can exchange and learn from their experience. Nowadays, I have a profession as a geophysicist in a Thai petroleum exploration and production company, PTTEP. During my career I have had opportunities to works in the fields that MOECO participated. It reminds me of the scholarship and I always be grateful. I am sure that MOECO will continue this valuable support for the society. I hope MOECO will success in new explorations keeping company growing and be a leader in the industry internationally."

" It's been since 2015 that I graduated. My life has gone through many experiences after that. Everything I do for living since I graduated was not relate to geology at all. I was a flight attendant and recently I have just started my own business. Since MOECO decided to grant me a scholarship, I have to develop myself further more to prove that MOECO did not pick a wrong person. It inspires me to devote a lot of free time to develop myself in many ways and the results to me in the present. The past tells me "don't stop learning" and "learn to achieve". I greatly appreciate MOECO for letting me know that I am worth and I can add value for myself. Although I am not working in geology profession but I am also able to repay the scholarship by passing on the good to the society, staring from myself. "I am a MOECO scholar during 2016-2018 from Department of Geological Sciences, Faculty of Science at Chiang Mai University. It was the first time in my life to experience a scholarship interviewing in English, which broke my safe zone and gave me confidence to overcome many situations. 　"For oneself, opportunities are essential for self-improvement and the future. MOECO Scholarship provided me with a meaningful opportunity, not only with money stipends but also the fuel for a dream of studying in Japan. As I am from a middle-class family, I could not securely spend money on everyday life, education, and some pleasures, even though they are not luxuries. MOECO scholarship can fulfill my needs and wants and provide emergency funds. Without this, I would not have been allowed to engage in creativity, experiment, and self-exploration in university life.

 　Moreover, I could feel the warmly welcomed environment at the annual Japanese-style party through dinner; this was my first impression of Japanese people and culture in person. From that moment, one of my wishes became to continue studying in Japan, which I accomplished. I am happily living and experiencing the beauty of Japan and further studying economic geology along with the Japanese language and culture. 　"Looking back to when I was a Nisit Chula in 2018-2022, I took my interests in lots of different, unique things outside my Geology classroom. Some of my interests back then would be fossil excavation, Gulf of Thailand's microbiome, and carbon sequestration in geological formation.

　These special extracurriculum (or sometimes, personal projects) cost not only money...but also time, and serious determination. I would say that receiving annual scholarship from MOECO has enabled me to be more independent, open to exciting opportunities, widen my knowledge spectrum, and most importantly, pursue my academic goals together with many wonderful peers from different universities in Thailand and abroad.

　Thanks to MOECO's generous support throughout my self-discovery years, now I have become a person that my younger self once dreamed of. A woman in STEM. After graduating from Geology Class of 2022, I started and have been working with the Gulf of Thailand's oldest gas field. Whenever I have a chance to engage with MOECO's operating area, it brings back memories and gratitude.

This scholarship eased the financial burden of my university expenses and also enabled me to pursue additional courses, such as English classes, outside of my university curriculum. It allowed me to maintain focus on my studies at Chulalongkorn University, helping me develop both petroleum-related and other essential skills. Thanks to this scholarship, I successfully graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and secured a position as a reservoir engineer at a national oil company. "I formerly received the MOECO scholarship when I was a second-year student at Chulalongkorn University. I was sincerely grateful and honored to receive the valuable scholarship to support my education. It is a great opportunity to participate in significant events, including the scholarship ceremony and the dinner celebration.

The MOECO scholarship not only eased my education financial burden but also encouraged me to continue my studies to achieve my academic and professional goals during my bachelor's degree. Furthermore, this scholarship provided other disbursements supporting living expenses, textbooks, and equipment. In addition to supporting tuition fees, I used this scholarship to enhance necessary skills including coding, data science, and data analytic skills which were crucial to a career in the oil and gas industry.
