"MOECO scholarship has provided me an opportunity to garner the best experience out of my undergraduate program at Chulalongkorn University. In 2010, when I was first selected as a MOECO Scholarship recipient during my sophomore year, I was thrilled and honored. The scholarship was not only a reflection of my hard work at school but also a vital reminder to myself that I should do my best for the rest of my undergraduate. Moreover, I was able to expose myself to many life-teaching extracurricular activities beyond classrooms, such as serving as a president of the geology student body (also known as "Union") or a co-leader of the 68th CU-TU Traditional Football Human Resources Team. Without financial support from MOECO, financial challenges might have prevented me from gaining these outside-classroom experiences that make me become who I am today. Selection processes of many scholarships may heavily base on students' intellectual merits, e.g., high GPA cut-off requirement, making most average-grade students avoid to apply for such scholarships. However, as a student who got an F grade in Physics 101, I believe that MOECO is looking for a well-rounded candidate with the potentials to make some contributions and to give back to the community. I urge everyone to apply for a MOECO scholarship if the opportunity comes knocking at your door!"
