For the second year in a row, Siam Moeco Ltd. (SML, operating onshore in Thailand as a 100% MOECO subsidiary), received the highest honor of "Excellent" along with Chevron, PTTEP and ExxonMobil, etc. in the SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Award by the Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF) of the Ministry of Energy. SML was presented the Award by General Anantaporn Kanchanarat, Minister of the Ministry of Energy on 14 September 2016.

The SHE Award Audit intends to ensure that E&P companies maintain high standards of HSE performance, and was carried out, based on three international management system standards of ISO 14001(environmental management), OHSAS 18001(occupational safety and health management) and ISO 29001 (system specific for the petroleum industry).

SML was audited by the SHE Award audit team, composed of auditors from DMF and TUV Nord, a third party auditing company, from June 13 to 17, from the viewpoint of the contents of the SML HSE management system and the Burapa-A production site's HSE implementation.

Utilizing the experience SML has cultivated up until now, MOECO aims to undertake new operator ventures around the globe.
